February 1st. To me, February will always be the month of love, of romance. I suppose it’s that way for many women; at least for those who have found love. I will spare you the mushy love crap for now though, because this particular blog is about other blogs that I l-o-v-e. A few little paragraphs I read through each morning (or afternoon) that make my day just a little better.
So here are a few blogs that deserve a quick glance, at the very least, in no particular order.
Get Rich Slowly – I’m addicted to this blog. I was never one for finance tips or any of the budget strategies but this guy gets to me. I think it’s because his blog is more personal. He’s been in debt, he’s lived paycheck to paycheck, and then he figured things out. Even better? He shares what he’s learned with the rest of us for free. I’ve followed a few of his tips since I discovered the blog last Christmas (when I got my iPod touch) and have already drastically altered the way I deal with my finances (in a very good way).
Knock Off Wood – This one… I have not the words. I love crafts. Creating something from little to nothing, especially if it can be done fairly cheap, is always okay in my book. Ana at Knock Off Wood seems to have the same mind set, but she takes it a step further. She finds furniture she loves, figures out how it’s built, and then posts the plans for the rest of us. I’m set to start building my new bed from one of the plans listed in the next couple weeks. $1000+ bed for $200? Yes please.
FailBlog – If you’ve never heard of fail blog… well then, you fail. So click the link and get a good laugh in. I’ve been a fan of FailBlog for at least a year now. There’s always something in there to brighten my day.
Instructables – Step by step how to’s of just about everything. Even things you probably never would have thought of (but someone else did). It’s not so much a blog but I subscribe to it anyway because there are always interesting things in there. And as I said.. I love crafts.
Dealhack – Sales, discounts, coupon codes… Find deals on just about anything. Keep an eye on this site for a few days and you’re bound to find a deal on something you need (or just really, really want).
That’s it for now. I’m still new to the whole blog thing as I was never a big fan of the idea in the past. Now that I’ll be writing my own though, it makes sense to read a few others as well. I certainly subscribe to more than what I’ve listed here but these are the only ones that have really wowed me so far. I’m sure I’ll find some more and will probably post a follow up in the months to come.

Yeee haw! February is the month of love but my favourite will always be March – the month of love MAKIN’…and my birthday.
Interesting sites…but I love your new blogs. Lookin’ fwd 2 hearin mo’ from ya.
Holla holla.
I still have a loooooong way to go to get the site finished. I figure this way I’ve at least got a little something here.
